Peace & Quiet in the Car? Except for the Pirates and Goblins!

Bedtimes and long drives are about to become a whole lot easier as Audventures are set to take iTunes and Audible by storm. Parents are forever looking for a way to keep their kids occupied that doesn’t involve the easy Nintendo route or plonking the kids in front of the TV. Audventures may be the ultimate way to keep the younglings entertained. What are they? Audventures are almost cinematic audio books designed to fuel the imagination through the use of vibrant characters, sound scapes, music and effects. They indulge children with magnificent tales of pirates, princesses, heroes and heroines, all with joyful endings and underlying morals. Described as “audio Disney,” the first of the Audventures set is the Classic Collection and when you download that collection you get four different stories all beautifully written and crafted.

Bedtimes too become simpler with the use of a good audio adventure, parents who have got in early have said that their kids positively look forward to bedtime to hear what happens to Captain Doddle and his pirate ship hunting for treasure, Zee Zee the Zebra as he helps the boys through the jungle or indeed Princess Ella as she finds herself inadvertently becoming Queen of the Fairies!
